KADINGO has been able to act as a link between the government and other policy makers with Civil Society Organisations in Kalangala District.
KADINGO has been able to mobilise Civil Society organisations in Kalangala under one umbrella to promote sustainable development.
2008-2009, with funding from Siemenpuu Foundation, strengthened community participation under the project entitled “Empowerment of CSOs Leadership for Community involvement and participation in Decision making and monitoring environment in Ssese Islands. This led to the creation of the 200metre of the buffer zone to be observed by BIDCO and Oil palm growers to protect the lake from pollution.
